Members of the Batch team plus out-going CEO of Batch For Books (USA), Fraser Tanner, were presented with a certificate to mark Batch Ltd’s continued presence at the Frankfurt Book Fair for 25 years. In that time, the fair has halved in size, but still welcomed some 4,000 exhibitors and 236,000 members of the public and trade visitors from 137 countries in 2026.
Jackie Barnetson had this to say about her first Frankfurt:
‘My first visit to the Frankfurt Book Fair was a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience – the vastness of the Fair really brings home what a vibrant and exciting industry this is! It was an opportunity to meet distributors, suppliers and both new and established booksellers from around the world. It was great to reconnect with some familiar faces, build new relationships and experience the energy of the international book trade firsthand. Many miles walked, stands visited and I’m looking forward to the London Book Fair and next year’s event in Frankfurt – already have the blister plasters ready!’
